ActNOW Scene Study is for All Queer Creatives, regardless of experience level.

You will be going up EVERY CLASS! 4 CLASSES TOTAL! Seats are LIMITED. Please be available for ALL classes. No refunds or make-up classes.

Classes will be focused on scene study and audition technique.

$225 for (4) consecutive classes.

*LOCATION: Broadwater Black Box, 6322 Santa Monica Blvd. (entrance on Lillian Way)

*Please be on the look out for an email from actnow@rainbowrated.com in the week preceding class. 

*Proof of Covid-19 Vaccinations Required, plus a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 48 hours prior to attending each class.

*** Our instructors are all working professionals and therefore subject to substitutes as their work & schedule dictates

Actor, producer, teacher, and Groundlings-trained improvisor Petey Gibson returns to ActNow in February and March! Television acting credits include three seasons as Head Forensic Anthropologist C Hemingway on FOX's Alert: Missing Persons UnitMurder in A Small TownBroad CityGrace & Frankie, and NCIS: New Orleans, among others. Theater credits include World Premieres at American Repertory Theatre and La Jolla Playhouse. He has also written, created, and starred in multiple short projects including 3 short films and an 8 episode webseries. 

Outside of acting, Petey proudly produces multiple queer and trans projects in Los Angeles, including the Trans Lineage program for the iconic Celebration Theatre, trans performing arts and comedy festival The Joy Who Lived and LA's longest-running drag king show Them Fatale.
